Already in the middle of winter. It has been mild so far with a minimum temperature of 7-8ºC.

have a chest infection which has been a drag. The virus had been incubating during the summer. I didn’t bother to expunge it then so I am now saddled with a chesty cough. It general I feel it to have been a difficult year so far but not a bad one.

Just keeping busy with the pruning at the moment and picking the odd almond even though it is very late. The almonds I picked are mostly still good. Breaking them is tedious - nut by nut. That nut cracker from China still works very well.
